RDB LA - Custom McLaren SLR
Here is a Mercedes/McLaren SLR we customized. For now we painted the wheels high gloss black, black exhaust tips and the side vents/hood vents body color. Its quite a bit of a mission to get the grills/vents off but definitely have to do it to get the paint work done.

After painting the wheels, side vents and hood vents we started the next phase of this build. The items on the list for this phase are modifying/painting the inside of the headlights and taillights. Although we have seen headlights being painted on the SLR before (quite a task) as far as I know I have not see anyone do the taillights. The tail lights cannot simply be baked/heated open, they have to be cut open. We have seen smoked SLR tail lights, which imo dont look great. Now its time to paint the inside! The Mclaren edition or 722 SLR's came with modified rear tail lights (the red inside is blacked out) which look amazing imo.

We are also painting the hood/bumper star and all the other emblems. We will also be lowering this SLR about 1 1/2 inches on the front and 2 inches at the rear.

i love what you have done with this slr, what a simple change that resulted in a dramatic effect.
