SR Project Stratos | The Smoldering Grey CLS63 AMG

The Mercedes CLS63 AMG needs no introduction as it has established itself as one of the most luxurious sedans of the 21st century. With its signature body styling, the CLS63 AMG can be recognized a mile away.

Our latest project titled ‘Stratos’ features a CLS that is sure to capture your attention. We began by dropping the original black exterior by two shades resulting in a smoldering grey finish. A set of bespoke LED DRL systems were mounted in the lower section of the bumper resembling a feature from its bigger brother; the 2012 CLS63 AMG. The center grille and surrounding emblems were painted gloss black to match the roof and mirrors. Lastly a carbon fiber front aero lip completes the exterior overhaul.

Moving on to our favorite section, the wheels. Consistency is important in a build like this, if the exterior features such sharp and clean attributes, then so must the wheels. We selected a set of PUR 4OUR monoblocks in a high gloss black finish. This ties in perfectly with the gloss black exterior accents, which creating a cohesive bond between the entire car.
