I am pissed I just got the ML63. Looks like my wife might be giving back that escalade soon and getting one of these.

I dont love the grill on this iteration of the GL - when the first one came out, it blew my mind. I think it was the largest mercedes emblem ever on any vehicle (including their commercial trucks). I wonder how this star measures up.

FWIW - the ML63 is truly spectacular to drive. I much prefer it over the CTT I had. This GL, I imagine it will not be nearly as quick as the ML, but I bet it will be the best, most capable and best sounding kid hauler in the school parking lot!

How do they compare size wise? I always thought of the GL as in the larger class with the Tahoe, escalade, LX, etc.

yes,it is more of a Tahoe sized vehice...one huge block of German engineering

that`s the whole point of this thing...resisting the greenie crap,taking your space and freedom,guzzling gas as much as you want,having all the power in this world and shout "move b1tch,get out the way...!"
