Just saw the sl500 in MonteCarlo, it's so ugly the current slk looks better.

The old SL was just sooo beautiful when it came out,and still is. I was hoping for a similar reaction to the new version but it just looks, weird..

The interior is great but they really messed up the exterior. Specifically the rear the side profile looks very funny in dark colors. I saw a black one and it's not a looker compared to 2011 model which is perfect. I hate the new tail lights in the sl they are very gaudy.

Funny I recently let go of my 95' that just collected dust! Had no room for it anymore!
Mo I am gonna pick up a pre-86' 500SL and restore to new, always wanted it since we had it in the family when i was a kid!
