And I thought that my cars were loud! SLK was a bit up there on the decibel count I'm sure.

It's much louder in person

my neighbors complain from cold start.

The M156 is one of the best sounding V8 engines ever made. What exhaust setup are you running?

SLK55 is the M113

SuperSprint X Pipe, Kleemann Secondary sports cat 200 cell and Kleemann Headers.

M156 is the 63 AMG engine.

Thanks, it's been a 6 year project.

I think I've invested 50k in to this car already. Next up Kw V3 coil over suspension (already dropped the car).

Didnt you supercharge your SLK?
Thats bad ass, sounds like a C63 with no exhaust pipes.
