The new Silver Arrow, the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 W03, was launched at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona on 21st February. The F1 W03 has undergone an intensive programme of simulation testing at the team's technical bases in Brackley and Brixworth.

It's one of those cars that looks fantastic from some angles, yet you move it fifteen degrees and it's just a weird, jumbled mess. But somehow, I like it for that.
I want to see one in the metal. I suspect that it will be way better irl.

Sheesh, Mercedes were on such a roll. I guess they can't hit the nail on the head everytime.

I'll stick to our '08 SL any day of the week.

Edit: Is it regulation to have the side mirrors on the doors as per the 991? It doesn't suit the car, looks strange in that position.

hate the exterior, love the seats and the interior...

it appears as if MB had a box of Lego parts and for every new car they just create something new with those parts..
I loved to do that in my early years
But this is not Lego playing for adults...

I'm sorry but I think the new SL looks fugly. They made it look a bit too "massive" especially around the front end. Totally takes away from the "sport lightweight" concept.

Hmmm maybe I am a bit biased because of my current ownership of last years SL but the new one is definitely appealing to me. Although I do agree with most people when they say the rear headlights just look wrong!

Either way, the SL is such a fantastic summer day/night cruiser, I might be obliged to buy the new model.
