Hello TS members, I have been following the website for the past 2 years finally decided to make an account.

Was wondering if there are any C63 Black Series depositors with confirmed orders? I put a deposit with my local MB dealer back in June 2011. I was first told a March production and my delivery date was originally April 19, 2012 but I was contacted by AMG Toronto the other day and told that the production has been pushed back to June which means I probably wont take delivery till July/August? The exact same delay happened with my 2011 CLS63 last year, is this a regular occurrence?

-Matte Black Wheels

 

I have a C63 AMG Coupe on order, was originally told March delivery but now May. Apparently there is a carbon fibre shortage at MB hence the delays.

 

I actually have a second allocation at a different local dealer under my spouse's name since they would not allow me to make 2 orders under the same name due to the exclusivity of this vehicle since only a handful are coming to Canada, and that dealer is telling me the same story...

 

Oh is that right? Hmm, yes that is what was said to me also is that it is due to a supply shortage but they didn't specify. Thanks! I seen a matte black C63 AMG coupe "edition 1" in person at my local dealer, looks very very good, I can't wait. Too bad though if I take deliver in August I will only be able to drive it for 2-3 months, then park it for winter. Oh well, G wagon here I come.

At first the point of the 2nd allocation was a backup in case the 1st one didn't fall through but now I have a confirmed order I am going to sell one privately.

 

Hi i have been given the end of may as a delivery date.

 

Makes sense since you're in the UK. I will probably receive mine some where in June.
