Spied: Mercedes-Benz SLS Black Series
A high-performance Black Series SLS with 650bhp is coming

Our Teamspeed spies caught a special surprise running around the ring for late morning testing, the highly rumored Mercedes-Benz SLS Black Series. We can only assume this is headed for production as it has been hinted to a few news outlets of late from the high-ups at Mercedes. If this is in fact slated for production it means the SLS Black Series would be the fastest and most powerful AMG model ever produced.

We expect the engineers at AMG to pump up the 6.3-litre V8 to at least 650bhp and as these spy shots show a fix a wider body-kit with lightweight carbon fiber panels. You've got to figure a the pumped up SLS will deliver a 0-60mph time of three seconds and a top speed of 200mph.

They're gonna put huge fenders on it like the SL Black and it will not look timeless, it will look vulgar and overdone.

Will be a monster, though.

 

Sorta looks like a crossbreed between nissan 350z and chrysler crossfire, on steroids.

 

This thing will look awesome, absolutely menacing. Hoping that it will truly compete with the likes of the 458, mp12c, gallardo, etc.. and I really expect nothing less.
