Got the CLK Black out to the track this weekend to run a bit. What an absolute blast! By far the best track car that AMG has offered us in the US. Everyone was blown away by the performance. Seems I could pass everyone except the gas station....

One of my favourite cars out there, its worth its price tag if your a die hard AMG fanatic like myself.

I am glad you liked it, I've heard that it is quiet comfortable if you use it on a daily basis as well as enjoying it in spirited driving or on the track.

 

We were able to get out on the track alone at the end of the day to shoot these pictures from car to car. I love the front shot, it is so aggressive....

The CLK Black is a really good daily driver as long as you understand what you are getting. Compared to my old 996 GT3, it is a dream and I would say that with the auto it is better than the 997 GT3 without giving up too much performance.

What you immediately notice on track is the steering and brakes. This car really hides its weight well and the steering is fantastic and not something you would ever expect in a Mercedes.

If this is any indication of one directing AMG is moving then you can sign me up for whatever is next!

Gorgeous! What color is it, looks darker then the usual silver, but it could just be the photos.

 

 

I too had that on my mind, looks like palladium silver........C63-ish if you know what i mean.
