Any Performance Studio special order options or spec?

 

Thank you , Im a bit of an AMG fan . Arrives January apparently . Not sure of full options or spec yet so undecided re performance studio work but will collect from Affalterbach meeting the engine builder etc thats a really nice touch ( and the long drive back to UK will help with the running in ).

It will be a pity to lose the 63 engine , I will shed a tear I think

 

That is nice, would love to pick up an AMG from the factory not possible no European delivery through the AD over here.

I was considering of getting a 3rd AMG to my collection(06 Kleeemann K2 SLK55 AMG and 2010 Edition 79 G55 AMG), had an SLS in mind but I am changing my mind dont want to be dead bored of the brand so I've been leaning towards a Ferrari 458, Spider or Scud version as a next car in a couple of years, want to see what the whole F-car experience is about.

Congrats, you should wait for the SLS AMG Black Series that will be out in 2013.

 

Im sorry to hear that , I had no idea about the lack of collection for US customers . Still you have access to this private lounge website thing , UK VINS cannot come in there , we whisper of it like its an automotive Narnia

I am also an amg ( and Porsche ) aholic ( clk black , sls and bidding on a dtm as we speak )
FYI I chose the SLS over the Maclaren and the 458 ( i tried all 3 ) . It just seems more honest and straightforward than either of them . I love it its like a big muscle car and was perfect for my purposes .

I am ashamed to admit I had a letter of intent for the SLS black since the SLS was announced ( I will be destitute or divorced by then at this rate though ) .

Congrats on the mighty G , awesome bit of kit . I have never tuned an NA car , do you have a thread with your experiences of the kleeman conversion ? Im fascinated .

 

I have various threads you can find them by clicking on my username and finding all threads created if memory serves me right, there you will see all threads I've created on TS.

All is well with the Kleemann, I know the CEO of the company and I have great discount on all of their parts.

The Conversion is Supercharger, headers, rear cats and ecu upgrade. An easy 100whp(minimum) extra.

If you ever want to tune your AMG, I'll send you to the right people.

I extremely hate these canards, they look funny on a road car. If the car was purely a track car then it would make sense.

 

i dont like the idea of having major option packages on this car.

its already a special edition (BS) of a special edition (AMG) but you still have to option essential packages like Track and Carbon Fiber ??

if i was in the market it would annoy me
