Spied: Mercedes C Coupé AMG Black Series

Our Teamspeed spies have caught a less disguised version of the Mercedes C Coupé AMG Black Series undergoing handling testing in Germany today. With the wider fenders melt in properly to the final design, the 6.2-litre V8 under the bonnet will deliver 510 horsepower via the AMG 7-speed speed-shift gearbox, lead to the rear axle. Hopefully there will also be some less weight for the engine to carry around.

The C Coupé AMG Black Series saloon will be followed by a version of the C63 AMG Saloon later on for those who want the more conventional limousine look. The C Coupé AMG Black Series will be a true successor to the CLK 63 AMG Black Series first shown in 2007. Stay tuned for more about this monster benz!

It's great not a fan of the overall C-class coupe design, reminds me of the accord coupe..a 4 door sedan would be my choice.

MB is all over the place, i suppose there wont be an AMG version of the current E coupe since there's already a C63 coupe and this?
