Currently no film on the car. Just trying to protect some of the chip prone areas.

Car looks great. One of my favorite tracks.

 

Nice to see you're actually getting this car out on track, as I'm sure the majority of SLS owners will never set foot on one. Btw, what are your impressions of the car on track?

 

The car is quite amazing on the track. The handling is miles better than any other AMG. The car hides its weight very well and once you get used ot the way the rear axle moves you realize the crazy ammount of mechanical grip the car has.

Balance is perfect with slight understeer. The power is addictive on track with power oversteer an option at any time with a heavy right foot.

I didn't find too many cars on track that I couldn't pass. Most of the other drivers were quite amazed of two things:

That I was actually running the car hard
How quick it was on the back straight
