Brabus Wheels for G55

Hey - anyone with experience with aftermarket wheels on a G55?

I really like the Brabus VI - they are badass and painted black, with the Brabus grille, I think my truck will look awesome.

I am a bit concerned though about the increase in size of the wheels and how it will affect the ride of the G55. Suprisingly, I find my truck to be comfortable. Its not overly hard on the highway at speed, its firm, but comfortable. I am concerned that with a 20, 21 or 22 inch rim, it will change the whole "feel" of the car. Am I crazy, or will this happen?

I wish there was a Brabus 19 inch rim, but my dealer says they start at 20's only.

Any insight you may have would be appreciated.

Best,

asg

Get the Brabus front bumper and LED lights, will look even better with the grille and brabus wheels. I would go for 21'' wheels but not in black.

You are correct, The Brabus Monoblock VI is only available in 20" for the G-Class.

To address your question about the ride, the G-Class is a big car, and the factory 19" wheels have some meaty rubber on them. Going up 1" to a 20", you will still have substantial rubber to abswarb a lot of the imperfections on the road. Going with a 22"+ alternative is where you will be feeling a lot different in terms of the ride!

I highly suggest going with the Brabus Monoblock VI's in black just like you said. PM me for special pricing

Thanks man -

I will PM you as I hear great things about your shop from guys here.

The question also remains.....Do I remove the brush guard or leave it on!?!?! Do I paint the brushguard black, leave it chrome or take it off?

20's are the way to go. One needs rubber and thickness for the NYC/NJ roads and snow and ice and....well...all that good stuff the G loves to drive in.

Best,

Adam,

I say take the brush guard off and pick up the Brabus Grill! Itll look much more aggressive!

Im running Brabus Monoblock VI in 22x10. The wheels look fantastic. Go with 20'' if you want to maintain a factory feel. What year is your G55?

Here are a shots of mine. My truck is in the shop right now getting the Brabus LED DRL's installed. I ended up taking the MB Grill Guard off. Brabus GV12 bumpers are next.
