So I contacted a guy in Germany who has this car (C63) about the Magno Allanite and this is what he had to say:

Needless to say it was very interesting!!

Hello^^

well so far i have no problems at all with the paint.

You're not allowed to wash the car in those carwashes with the rotating synthetic brushes (hope you know what i mean).

I've been to some carwashes and so far no scratches at all. Still looks like brandnew.

I would be very carefull with the AluBeam.

I talked to some Mercedes Guys in Sindelfingen and AMG. They said it looks great BUT if you ever get a scratch or some damage you cant just repaint the damaged part but the whole car. It will never look the same again.

Now it depends on how you use the car i think. if its parked in the garage more than being used try the AluBeam.
I use my C63 as a daily driver and on race tracks and would never choose the AluBeam.

Hope this helps.

That is gorgeous... The carbon fiber lip spoiler is sweet too. Matte white or black would be better looking though imo..

Apart from matte silver, matte colors are terribly ugly. They need to get rid of them. While you're at it, get rid of black wheels.

Not only is it an elderly fad, it kills the look of the wheels. You might as well be riding on steelies. The whole profile of the wheel is gone.

I had a matte white R8 for only 2 months...didn't notice anything alarming, but the new owner that bought it from me, has noticed that over the year, certain areas have definitely grown to have a glossier sheen than others.

He does not do buffs / waxes / drive-thru washes, all hand-washed at his usual detailer. Good luck!
