Been searching for some pics of Matte Black SL55s as wanted to make sure it looks good before I get mine done

Can I just ask how the lights were done like that? It looks so much better with the black insides! Did you just take it to the 'shop and ask them to paint the insides black or how did you have it done?

Matte black is a perfect combination on the SL55, but sad to say i removed the matte wrap on my car. started missing the "shiny" feel. Difficult to maintain honestly. I'll post up a couple of pictures in a few though..

Yes, The lights were painted from the inside, feel free to PM me anytime, i'll tell you exactly how it was done. Post some pictures of your SL55 as well, and welcome to the team! We need more AMG threads

Ohh, you took off the wrap? Actually I can understand what you mean, I think the car does really suit the 'shiny' paint. I am surprised you found it much work to maintain a wrap - although maybe that is something to do with living in dusty MidEast?
