Hey does anyone know when the first North American SLS deliveries begin? From what I've heard the first cars should be hitting our shores the first week of May. Has anyone else heard this to confirm?

My neighbour has one. Saw it a few weeks ago, around Easter. Still looks like a bag of crap though (the car, not the neighbor).

I doubt any NA deliveries have taken place. We've got 6 orders and not one has come in.

 

I saw the one below at Cars & Coffee Irvine about a month ago, but it had a distributor plate on it.

Sadly, I must agree that it was a bit underwhelming in person.

 

There are a few like that color combo touring the Country. I wanna see the metallic red with a brown interior!

 

Mercedes hasn't given you guys an ETA?

I saw the car 2 weeks ago, its very nice but not that intoxicating as a SLR 722. The car looks best with the optional wheels, ceramic brakes and fully loaded other wise the other wheels really spoil it.

I got to see one in alubeam metallic which is a 13,000 optional, the paint it is the same paint in the Mclaren Mercedes F1 cars if I am not mistaken.

At its price range which is around 250,000 dollars there are lots of other cars that I'd consider if I wanted a sports car, how about a 997.2 Turbo which is much more affordable or about another 50,000 on top of the SLS price a Ferrari 458 perhaps ?
