Thats the beauty of this LSD. The multiple clutch packs are designed to gradually transform into a 100% locking differential as loads rise. This LSD is truly in a league of its own thanks to holes that are precision machined to each disk and the side gears, essentially transforming the unit into a circulating oil pump.

Yes. That's the old Super Lock design which looks the same from the outside but the internals are slightly modified. Superlock LSD and TCD are nearly the same design, but TCD units have better oil flow characteristics. The Superlock LSD runs very quiet, but the TCD runs even quieter, and race teams using TCD actually report better lap times vs. the normal Superlock LSD.

Do you have any timeslips showing the OS Giken times vs. the stock diff.?
