I know many of you may have seen this one before but its such a good vid and realy shows what the F1 car can do against every other car... its just not fair

The comparison is a great F1 promotional move for those Merc customers who wouldn't normally watch Formula1.
Add ~28 seconds for the pit stop to Alonso's lap time in those conditions and the margin is what the vid showed.
Cool vid though.

Until a couple of years ago, I hadn't watched an F1 race for ten or twelve years. When I was a kid, I found it boring. Then I tuned in to a race by accident, and I realized that they're going a million! It was just mind-blowing.
Sort of related: Ferrari F1 vs. 550 Maranello vs. a Fiat.
