We have developed our very own sensor links for adjustment of the E63’s rear ride height. First, the engineers took out the Mercedes links and created adjustable prototype links in reference to the OE parts. These prototypes would tell us how much shorter the links would need to be for the ideal ride height. The decision to make two separate production sizes was made so that the customer could choose from different levels of lowering. The links are surprisingly easy to take out and replace. You don’t even have to take the wheels off, just jack up the car and they’re super easy to get to. RENNTECH will offer two separate link sets that lower the vehicle either 1/2" or 3/4". Custom heights/lowering available upon request.

Front suspension was modified to reflect adjustments made to the rear.

Here's an image of the factory Mercedes links

Here's the final dyno testing of the E63. This car is equipped with the RENNTECH Package 2+. The vehicle produced an extra 41HP at the wheels, compared to stock. 436HP/395LB-FT

Very impressive increase in power to an already monstrous motor. Do you guys have any 1/4 mile runs vs. stock for comparison? A good friend of mine did a full upgrade on his W211 E55 (headers, pulley, cams, ECU, airbox. filter) and went from 385 rwhp to 495 rwhp/556 rwtq, but more importantly it now pulls very strongly from just off idle all the way to redline as opposed to running out of breath at the upper rev range stock.

I can't help but think a light pressure blower could turn the 63 motor into a real monster. Have you guys played around with installing a blower on the 63 motor? If so, any results?

No quarter mile comparos just yet but I will keep you guys posted. The E55's are great cars with a great powertrain, which are much easier to pull power out of, being that they are supercharged.. The E63 and any other 63 AMG for that matter has too high of a compression ratio for supercharging. However, we are working on alternative modifications to boost performance higher than what you see here.

Our engineering team is VERY close to finalizing our 82MM throttle body conversion which will be a great addition to any 63 AMG vehicle. I am told that it should be available within the next month. There are a couple other projects which we are keeping under wraps for now. The Teamspeed community will be the first to know about these products as they approach production, so stay tuned!
