So we completed a few baseline dyno runs with the E63. The car made a fairly impressive 395 horsepower and 356 lb-ft of torque to the wheels on our Dynojet.

Once the car was on the lift, I snapped a few quick shots of the stock AMG exhaust system prior to going under the knife. Here you see the secondary cats and resonators, both of which will be removed and replaced.

First modification made to the exhaust is the addition of a RENNTECH Sound and Performance Pipe. This pipe is designed and engineered to open up the exhaust and create an amazing sound while at full throttle. Next we will be installing our Stainless Steel Headers and Carbon Fiber airbox. Once that’s completed, a mid-tune dyno run will be made to track our progress.

Very nice. Thanks for updating the thread. How much power do the stock w211 E55 and E63 put down on your dyno?

Thanks in advance.

Good question! I went back into our dyno archives and it looks like the w211 E63s were all around 400-405hp stock. The baseline E55's are right up there with the E63s as well, pulling anywhere from low 390's to 405hp.

We are in Lake Park, about an hour and fifteen minute drive north of miami. Make sure to swing by the Supercar Experience if you're around the 28th. It's a great event being held in downtown West Palm Beach. Check it out, The Supercar Experience

Thanks Dan. Excited to follow this thread. Our dealer has a black 2010 E63 on the floor that I've been considering. Can't wait to see your mods!
