Took a drive in a C63...

Yesterday I took a drive in a '09 C63

I had great impressions of it.

Great size for DD (city driving)
Awesome sound!
The gearbox is enough
Pretty easy handling without losing fun (ESP off it's a must anyway)

I love "driver's cars", I enjoy active driving (S2000 it's one of my favorite), but this car got me more than I expected. I'm waiting to drive the M5 now...


Any idea of which diff it has? It's not the P30 version.

I thought I would find a stiffer suspension, confort it's great to regular use but I missed active suspension (something like PASM)
In active driving I missed more room for steering. The arm rest in the center and the door kept my elbows restricted.


Would buy one over a M3 sedan or RS4.

Nice little write up though, is the rear passenger space useless for adults like the previous generation c-class?

I didn't get back there, but my friends were fine. The big seats didn't seem to bother.

If it doesn't have the P030 performance package then it has a regular open differential (no LSD).

Take care, I once did a burnout that ended spinning the wheels up to 130kmh on mine with esp off.
