My Frequent short detail for the SLK55 AMG
Hello,
I personally frequently detail my garage queen, which is the SLK55. I've had this car for nearly 4 years ( April 16th 2006) and I take care of it more than anything I've ever owned.
In the next 10 days its going to go to the dealership for the Designo Classic Red/Black gear lever. I got that one because it looks superb and complements the interior nicely even it is slightly brighter red than the seats but goes along well with my new red seatbelts.
I've detailed the interior today, making the leather look factory fresh and smooth. I do it once every two months or so. I prefer to have the interior detailed professionally semi annually and its taken care of through the dealer.
The exterior will be also detailed, I've got a few scratches here and there and one annoying scratch from a cats claw ( we've got street cats in our area ). That would be taken care of after I get the car detailed, exterior and interior which will then be covered 24/7 when I am not using it. I am waiting for the AMG car cover for my SLK55, the one I have is for the cl and is too big for my car.
What really annoys me is the weather conditions sometimes dusty ( clean the car more), small garage space and street cats.
I give my car a 9/10 condition, once it gets back hopefully it will be a 10/10.
I am glad I went out and got my self the meguiars leather cleaner, at least I have something active to do rather than sleep after lunch. Got the interior sorted now just waiting for the full pampering at the dealership. At the end of the day, I am happy now that I've got minor things sorted
