SL65 Black Series

Anybody here have much time behind the wheel of an sl65 BS ? Looking for some reviews from owners or anybody with a decent amount of seat time in one. Thanks in advance.

PM me your email addy. I'll send it to a buddy of mine that has an SL Black and you can converse with him.

Here's a link to an article he wrote when he bought the car: Review: 2009 SL65 AMG Black Series | The Truth About Cars

Green, too cool. Small world. But it looks like everything you've listed is naturally aspirated. I see he hasn't afflicted you with his love of Twin Turbo-ing or Twin Supercharging EVERYTHING he owns!!!

Nice car, but still heavy. You can feel the mass. This may be obvious, but it feels much more like a tuned SL (which it is) than it does like an SLR (which is a vastly superior machine).

Just my $0.02.

The SLR is terrible the tranny sux and it drives like a mac truck and handles like shi*. The SL65 is a superior car in many respects

GREAT looking car that will get you to 199mph, but I guess that's about where the fun, comfortability and rationale to purchase stop...

It does? Really? Hmm I owned one and put approx 10,000 miles on it and it was a fantastic car, the transmission was terrific and handled extremely well. It is superior to the Sl65BS in everyway...
