The MeanMachine SLK is on the dyno

I did three runs, the first one is in 3rd gear and the rpm climbed very quickly. The second and third runs are in 4th gear

Enjoy guys,

424xLC2 DYNO JET

So I assume my car is 392-393 hp on the wheels. Which makes it to around 400bhp or slightly more.

I am very satisfied , I had an aim to exceed 400 and I've done it. I'll report back later when I add camshafts.

Video coming soon.

Whilst on WOT on the dyno , I jumped a step backward it got me by surprise.

Nope that would be over exaggerated, if you multiply it by .18 yes but since its a different dyno the calculations are different.

I talked to two different professional technicians I know, both told be around 400bhp or slightly more which is what I aimed for in the beginning.

I dont care about the crankhp that much what I expect is how it will perform, basically its between 400-10bhp which is a great amount over 40-50hp over stock.

I will get the camshafts installed hopefully in a couple of months, break in the engine and get it on the same dyno for 3 more runs. I will compare how much I've gained.

True, it does not matter how much it puts to the crank as it's subjective. The real importance of the dyno is the power differential. i.e what you are going to be doing when you get cams; to see the difference in power yielded by the cams.

Great to see that your car is putting 400 to the tire though, very impressive moe

Give me a few days( New years holiday ), the shop took the video and I didnt have a flash drive with me. I didnt want them post it online because many locals view their channel and I really dont want anyone knowing about my car.

Did the Dyno at G-Force Autoworx, great shop and very close to my home which is another plus. It was a rainy day, I managed to withstand the congestion on the way.

Here are some pics of today's dyno,

Mashkour habeebi,

That is correct, when I only had an ecu upgrade and drop in air filters I raced my friend member ( mak ) as a drag race with his CLS55 AMG. I was ahead of him by around 3 cars till 200kmh. Its power to weight ratio which is the key and the fact that the TQ amount is higher than HP is a big advantage.

Later on I installed the x pipe and the rear catalytic's I was ahead of him from a 50 or 80kmh till higher speeds he wasn't reeling in.

I initially planned to get the supercharger but its a hassle( tuning, air/fule ratio, boost, data logging ) and expensive, I'll stick to naturally aspirated modifications much better for me.
