A friend is going next week to pick up his in AbuDhabi...
AMG if flying him out there to teach him how to take it around the track, I offer'd to be his biyatch for the two days but was turnd down

I guess waiting would not be a disadvantage then..

the initial technical problems that often arise might then already have been fixed and the prices may have come down a little bit...
That number is not a correct number for annual production. It's a target for Total production over the course of 5 years.

Less then 750 will make it to the US for MY11. And from my AMG source he's saying that AMG doesn't think it'll be able to fulfill each order for NA.

after seeing the car in person, and balancing what else is available at the price range i would probably pass. 200k+ for it was a little rediculous. I didnt vote as i cant afford one. But as a collective, TPC could buy 1 or more and we would choose not to

Did you just see it or did you drive it? Everyone that I talked to that has driven it has had a great opinion of the sls. For 200K what do you compare it to?

Ordered Mine

I ordered one, but my dealer only got allotted one car. He said, they are sending 500 to the states and not all dealers will get one. Dealers in areas like CA are putting a 50k dealer mark-up on them already, and they are selling off the list. Looking at the order list, if you plan to get one, now is the time to put your money down. If you wait another month, you may be buying off ebay from someone who got one. The options are a little pricey. The 200k price tag may be true, but you can add another 30k in options quickly. Mine is coming in at 225k at this point, but the base price is not firmed up yet. So, it may change.
