Spy Shots: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Cabriolet
Yesterday we showed you the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG live from the Frankfurt Motor Show, the IAA. This is a new car, designed and built by AMG. It's a rebirth of the legendary 300 SL Gullwing. The most noticable detail on the car is the way you get into the car. The 'flying doors', also known as Gullwing-doors were first introduced on the 300 SL, a very long time ago. Like the coupe, Mercedes-Benz and AMG will also build a convertible version.
The SLS AMG Cabriolet has already been spyshotted under the name SLC. We managed to get our hands on fresh and new spyshots, live from the Nurburgring. This is where all the major car companies test their new vehicles. Mercedes-Benz also tested the coupe SLS here. We're pretty sure Mercedes-Benz and AMG will use the same engine they'll use in the closed version of the car. That's going to be a V8 which produces 525 bhp. From zero to hundred kilometers per hour will take around four seconds. This car is going to be a beauty and hopefully we're going to see some of them here in Holland.
