The only remaining MB 300 SLR, iirc.

Every night before I go to bed, I pray to everything that is holy that I get the chance to see one or both of these cars during the Monterey Historics weekend.

^i thought the second pic was the 300 slr? Whats the one with only a driver in it, no passenger.

Sorry, I should've clarified more. The much older car is the original 300 SLR whereas the other car is the new SLR Stirling Moss edition.

Clever MB. There are SLS design cues all over that SLR. The rear should basically be the same car... Nice way to test the waters and create that gradual progression towards the SLS lines.

Woah, that just blew my mind. I'd never thought about this car like that but that's a brilliant point! They can keep the styling the same on the SLS Coupe for all care because the Stirling Moss SLR is brilliant, imo.
