get the newest car with the most warranty. e63 is a great car that's still somewhat sporty. if you already have a sports car, then i would opt for the s65.

as much as i wanted the s class, i do believe that the e class is more my style, my wife has a w210 e320 and that car from new never gave us any problems.I think i am leaning torwards the e55 for now.I just want to take my time and find one after i come back from my summer vacation to Greece.

I have a lot of seat time in a E63 and E55, and if I was buying, I'd probably get the E63 for a variety of small reasons. The E63 paddles are a huge improvement over the stupid buttons on the 55, the noise of the 63 is just awe inspiring, and it's newer, the materials inside are much nicer, and it's the newer car. Most people won't know the difference between the two, and of course the mod-ability of the 55 motor is way greater. Also the 55 has much more low end grunt but I prefer the feel of the 63 better. Seat of the pants I think the 63 feels better but I always tend to favour engines that rev.

They're all great cars but go drive both and see what you prefer. The 63 though is a 55 which has been put through the strainer and all my little peeves about it are corrected and improved on.

i am gonna have to do just that drive both, from what i am reading on the 2 cars is that performance wise the 55 can be made faster, and i know how i am, i am gonna want a mid to low 11 second car, maybe even a 10 second car possibly.

low end torque of the 55 is priceless...all motor you have to rev out...not as much fun.

i just had a 600hp vette that i had to rev out...its fun and all...but nothing feels better then the low end power of the viper or e55...its instant
