Hooking up my C63

Hey guys im new to posting on the boards but have been browsing them for some time. My birthdays coming up and im wondering exactly what I should do to my car. I have an '09 Alpine White C63 with black interior and wanted to do some exterior work to the car to make it look nice. All I have done to the car so far is a resonator delete and blacked out tail lights and reflectors. I'm thinking of putting on some 20'' matte black HRE M40's but see alot of M3's and CLK 63's already with them. Along with de-chroming the exterior to match the rims and dropping the car. Any opinions on a different set of wheels that would look good on the car? Thanks in advance

-Danny

Black out all the trim pieces and paint the stock rims black.

Thanks for the reply.

The reason im thinking the M40s is because i can get a good deal on them. The stock rims are pretty nice but I'd like to upgrade to some HRE's and I'd like some 20's

Why do you wants 20's? A 19" wheel is plenty big for a car the size of a C class.

If it were me, I'd do what LABrit said: tint, blacked out trim, black out the stock wheels - that's it.

Save your money on the HRE's, etc., it's already a great car, you don't need to jump on and be an HRE groupie.

Welcome to the Team. Would love to see some of the car in its current state.

Black out the stock wheels, and get the calipers painted... or maybe some black BBS LM's?

Do C63s come with big brakes stock? I know Mercedes is famous (as is BMW) for under-braking their smaller cars. If so, then get a BBK instead of HREs.

I'd also be more inclined to bring the low-rent interior up than the exterior. White C63 sounds hot. Put some cash into redoing the whole dash in black Alcantara. That would look nice and really upgrade the interior feel... Just my $0.02.

Not the AMGs. They have had big brakes for 7+ years now (since C32 AMG)
