Fabspeed Motorsports installed a Kleemann K3-kit on this 2005 Mercedes Benz SL55AMG. The Kleemann K3 kit includes a larger diameter supercharger pulley, T304 stainless steel sport headers with downpipes, and an ECU upgrade. To further increase power throughout the RPM range, we also installed an 80mm throttle body, a limited slip differential, a Johnson intercooler pump, and BMC F1 high performance air filters. Last year we installed a K2-kit on a 2007 SL55AMG and put down 463.9HP/533ft-lbs tq to the rear wheels. We ran this 2005 SL55AMG and put down 522HP/563ft-lbs tq to the rear wheels, to the crank power is at 626HP/675ft-lbs tq!! The Kleemann sport headers provide more exhaust flow over the stock manifolds through the use of a 4-into-1 high velocity merge collector and a larger diameter exhaust port.
