Arrow SLR Roadster Video Test

The McLaren SLR Roadster has been around for several months now but the car’s official media launch only took place last month. Since then there have been several new reviews of Mercedes’ ultimate sports car and now we have the latest clip from Fifth Gear.

Dj, I have driven in and I can only say that it can be used as a daily driver.

Imagine you were crusing at 120kmh and you feel the urge to need for speed, just blip the throttle and the supercharger kicks in instatly downshifting keeping you in the prime gear for torque. I swear after 200kmh this car just pulls and pulls,626hp is great for a roadster especially when it can be used as an everday car due to the fully autmatic gearbox.

From what I have heard production wouldnt be many like the SLR coupe', the showroom manager said MB is slacking off the SLR and G-class by 2010 and his speculations are correct with the ML a couple of years ago.

All I can say if anyone wants an SLR or G-class get it now or you might regret not getting one.

They are ruining the Mclaren name. You want a convertible, go get a SL, CLK or even an Aston. The only thing that bothers me about the SLR coupe is that they don't offer a manual transmission.
