I think there is a purpose - these concept cars from MB get crushed (ex. the Brabus, which is a "production" car) to avoid liability, so voting it in basically means it will get to live in the museum or something.

NOTE: we did not get to pick the "theme" of the build - those were assigned. They told us to "build a rally racer", and that's what we came up with.
