I predict a lower price point will sell like hot cakes. Majority of buyer will either be new to tablet or on an older tablet.

It would be amazing if it had a retina screen, but I don't think that's realistic.

 

well I sold my iPad 2 and got a MBA. But now i'm considering getting the iPad mini to use as an ebook reader and also for travel and other stuff. Was considering getting a Kindle Fire but this mini should sync better with my Apple products and I can use it as a remote for the Apple TV I'm planning on getting (easier to search for programming than using the little remote they give you)

oh and I'm not an Apple fanboi

 

I feel the current iPad is just the right size.. Big enough to watch movies, read magazines and small enough to carry around pretty easily. And if they do manage to make it thinner and lighter, then nothing like it.

 

Id rather have an IPAD XL. 15" screen of beauty

 

Does it have communication function?

I wish it can be also like a phone then I don't have to carry two devices out.
