Apple TV question

I just got apple tv and not all of the movies in my library show up? I updated and checked to make sure they weren't just on my iPad and all seems good. Any idea why certain things won't show up?

Just checked and everything is checked off! Still puzzled. For example I have truth in 24 parts one and two in my library but only part one is on apple tv!?

Have you checked the entire library from your Apple TV menu? I know you can change the subcategories (from TV/Movies/Music to more specific stuff like Comedy/Romance/etc)...perhaps it's in a different section that you might not expect?

First thing I would do is restart both devices, sounds like a glitch that might resolve itself hopefully.

Which generation do you have? Like the smaller black one or white one?

Make sure you have the newest update on the Apple TV and iTunes, select sync all devices, restart and they will all be there...I bought a new ipad3 last week and it took me a while to sync everything, then I read an update that it is fixed in the lasest updates. BTW, I did not update my ipad to the lastest version because of all the issues I have heard about and it still worked fine.

BTW, I did it completely for Truth in 24 parts I and II and Senna

I have rented everything else, those are my only purchases that I want on every apple device in the house!

All great choices!

I have the small black one so I would assume its the newest because it's all the store had. When I got home last night there was an update so hopefully that will solve it. Didn't try after it finished. I'll give an update when I try it out!

FYI, i've had a few occasions where the update wouldn't go wireless and I had to plug the apple tv into my computer and update it through itunes.
