Got the iPad 2 in Jan..... I don't use my laptop that much anymore....are any of you having battery problems on the new iPad 3 or iPad HD whatever they call it - Extreme Heat causing it to shut down -

I should clarify that I have moncarbone case on the iPad 2, not on the new iPad.

no battery or overheating problems on the new ipad for me.

TBH I don't think this "the new iPad" is worth it. Yes a bigger screen, that makes it easier to break. Oh, its thinner! Easier to lose or steal/get stolen. Why wouldnt you just buy an ipad2? Idk... Just my view on it.

Uh... It's the same size in all dimensions. You get a HD retina display for it.

By all means, yes! I went from the first to third and I'm still amazed. Huge upgrade.

Wasn't planning on upgrading from my iPad 2, but my wife just bought me the new one as an early birthday present. Played with it at the store, the screen is amazing.
