Not so easy when you fall off a bike at 20+ mph, falls out of your pocket when you're lifting weights, etc... I'm not a klutz with mine but shit happens if you're active. Cases allowed me to keep both my previous 3gs and 4 in great condition and re-sell upon upgrade. That's the point.

Just don't be a ****wit, don't drop it. Easy.

I totally just bought Vapor Pro R8 for the gf's father who builds homes for a living and will probably drop it everywhere! Really I just want to keep it for myself tho!

Pretty good. So far I've taken it in a pool with me with absolutely no problem. Went 6 feet under - still works.

Also nice to bring in the shower with me every AM and listen to Pandora.
I have the same case, and I can't even begin to explain how pleased I am with it. Accidentally dropped mine off the roof putting up Christmas lights this past weekend (on to the driveway), and still works with no problems.

I think that they look great. But I don't like how it feels without a cover (holding it to my ear. don't mind so much texting, etc). I liked the pre-4 phones much better in this regard.

I agree with you, the 4 and 4s are very unnatural in the hand.
