iPhone discharging?

Ok, I'm utterly baffled.
Decided I couldn't wait to get access to my 'main' computer, so I purchased iRip to transfer my iPod music to my laptop, sync'd everything and removed my old work Outlook account (which I couldn't do before moving my data over). Have had my phone off the charger for about an hour. In the last 2 days, it would have lost a least 5-10% charge, but it's held at 100%. WTF. I'll hold final judgement until tomorrow, but problem solved???

My wife just reminded me that I just got this phone about 6 months ago, not a year and a half. This is my second iPhone 4, the first was replaced due to a faulty mic.
So, now I really don't get it. A dying Li-battery was at the top of my list of possibly culprits. But only after 6 months??

Bummer they wouldn't replace it, but you could probably trade it in to one of those online services and get enough to cover the new phone.

Not sure why this works, but like I said earlier, every time that I have had this problem, a restore always resolves it. I did not want to go into too much details, but like Simba previously mentioned, something (app wise) usually causes the radio to go into full on mode. Just my .02

Unless the phone was in a sealed apple box when they gave it to you, it could have been refurbished. Most of the phones that they swap out as service replacements/warranty replacements are refurbished, so the battery may not have been brand new.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
