Walked in Apple store this morning and they had plenty of every model in stock. Picked up a white 64gb AT&T model. Love it so far. As stated, everything seems fast, and slightly to much improved over the 4. Very refined. Camera is awesome. Haven't played with Siri yet.

 

I got a case for mine today. The Griffin Reveal. It's pretty sweet. I also got the InvisibleShield screen protector.

 

Anyone else notice battery life is subpar. I'm usually below 50% after a few hours of use...

Do you guys keep bluetooth on? I use it for my car, but its quite annoying remembering to turn it on/off everytime you get in/out of your car.

 

Battery has been a little sketchy for me as well. I've made it through the day but only barely. I'm new to iPhone so you all may know is but someone told me to double click the home button and then you hold down on one of the icons and red minus signs comes up. This is how you turn off open apps so they stop draining the battery while you aren't using them. I'm not sure this is totally true but it has seemed to help quite a bit.

 

Yes, you definitely want to close out apps by using the method you described. Bluetooth and wifi also do significant damage to battery. Where you could also save some battery is screen brightness, but at the end of the day a full feature smartphone (ie non-BB) is going to go through lots of power.

 

what are you guys getting as far as cases go for the new phone?


also is the screen more scratch resistant then the 3's were?

 

I got incipio case that is half soft and half hard. Not bad I like it.
