I am not too sure about the new iPhone with Verizon... How will the service be? What are the rate plans? Can I keep my old number?

Also, is MobileMe really worth it? I just don't know what I would use it for... I am down for everything else Apple, but that one just seems like another thing that I don't need.

I'm guessing the service will be pretty solid, VZ is loaded with smartphone users already. Haven't seen the rate plans but you will most definitely be able to port your number. Its a simple few hour process.

Re: Mobileme I'd say you probably don't need it. It is just another cloud service. If you have a need to store files in a cloud use Dropbox. You probably don't want or need another email address

Yeah, I already have 4 or 5 email addresses that I actively use, and I can't avoid it. So, yeah, no to the MobileMe. I am going to look into the Verizon wireless plans with the iPhone, but I have a BB with Sprint right now, and I get 30% off my total bill every month. Plus, I have had zero problems with Sprint, so I might just stick with them. I don't need an iPhone again that badly...

It's great stuff!
Started recently with a macpro, then an air. Iphone led to a 27 imac at home, that spawned a 17 pro at the office. It plays well with the practice server thru RDC.

Thinking bout the 2nd gen ipad as a toy when it comes out.
