HOLY WOOD LOSS BATMAN!
Talk about taking a big swig of salt peter.
Captain over-rated is here to save the day!
Oh listen... Is that the sound of crickets?
Wait... Wait... no. nope. Don't give a f**k! Almost had it there.
Here is a product opportunity: Musical Viagra!
Okay... now I feel better. All those years of "I don't get it" that I've had associated with the Beatles has been assuaged.
Carry on.

Ms Ono told Reuters this summer that Steve Jobs, Apple’s chief executive, was “a brilliant guy [but] there’s just an element that we’re not very happy about, as people. We are holding out.”
They must have received an offer they couldn't refuse. I, for one, think it'll be nice to be able to d/l their stuff. I have a good chunk on CD anyway but there's a ton I don't have.

Disappointment is an understatement. The subscription based iTunes rumor is just as frustrating as the Verizon iPhone rumor. They have to happen eventually, right? I'm a frustrated Android user with an expiring contract (I don't want to go to AT&T) and a somewhat happy Netflix/Rhapsody user. One press conference could end all of my digital frustration.

I don't see how this is news worthy. I've had every Beatles album in my iTunes library for YEARS. You could download them just about anywhere except iTunes until this week.
I fail to see what the big deal is...

Probably cause a few of the dudes at Apple are big fans of the Beatles, and thought, hey, why not do a ridiculous press launch that will leave people pissed off and underwhelmed.
Should have been a subscription based iTunes. Fail Apple, fail. Again.
