I have not seen it yet, but from the pictures it looks small enough to be a watch.

btw DJ i'm with you. For the gym the track-wheel works the best.
I have an old IPOD. I love it, its robust, I don't worry about its screne being so fragile, it works in -45 and I can find it easily in the deep interior pocket in my ski jackets

I would never bring an Iphone/Ipad/Ipodtouch where I bring the good ol 4th gen ipod classic

Because it's awesome. I have an 80GB Classic and an 8GB Touch. I love my classic solely for the fact that I don't have to limit myself to what I put on it like I have to do with my Touch. I have numerous movies, tv show episodes, and a ton of music on my classic. Can't do that on my Touch.

iPod classic ftw

the largest reason is storage. you can now get a touch with 64GB, but that just came out a couple weeks ago. still, the ipod classic is 160GB. if you have a huge library and want to tote a lot of it around with you, this is the best option. i think most ipods are geared toward specific applications. i have a few nanos which just sit, attached to my cars. i have a couple of touches and my iphone which are used for web browsing, gaming and video watching. lastly i have one classic which accompanies my when we travel (especially long distances in the car).

i forgot to add that you can also use the classic (as well as others) as a mass storage device. not that this would be its primary function, but it may come in handy on occasion.

How do you use it for mass storage? Do you have to create a custom file?

Used the new Nano on a road trip this weekend. Obviously compact size is not a huge advantage in the car, and I found it much more difficult to navigate than my Touch.

That watch strap is awesome.
