iPad question

It's more than likely the voltage difference. Older gen iPods were 12 I think, and the new gen iPods, iPhone 3G/S etc are all 3. They sell a plug online that converts the voltage, but no guarantee it'll work.

The front console of a Denali is big enough for an iPad?
Everything IS bigger in Texas!
Green, why did you go for that as the SUV of choice? Interested as obviously shortly we are going to be looking for a large SUV also.

Thanks Gobbles and Jenk
Montana, I needed a large 3 row SUV, and it boiled down to the Sequoia vs Denali XL. I liked the Denali XL better, had more room in the back, and felt sturdier.
If you don't need the 3rd row, you'll have many more choices to pick from.

I just use an aux-in jack with a standard headphone connector, cheaper and I don't run into these problems. Plus I can hook up other things. I use it as a handsfree for my phone and people have played videos on their computer through the stereo.

I ended up getting an IPod classic. It was the best bang for the buck, holds 160 GB. It will stay inside the car almost all the time, charges off the USB port, with seamless integration into the NAV screen/audio controls.
