iPhone won't load email properly
I only got this problem after upgrading to OS4, the stupid thing does receive mail and I can see a preview of the content while browsing through the inbox:

But when I open a message:

Nada.
Halp.

No, but in all seriousness, I haven't updated the iPhone to OS4 because of this very problem.
There don't seem to be any solutions to this sh*t issue at the moment, but some people have random solutions:
"The best way to sort it, which worked for me:
Turn off 3G
Turn off Cellular Data service
Reset Network Settings (you will lose all wifi settings)
Delete all the email accounts (will lose all mails)
Disable push and fetch mail features.
Reboot phone
Re-add each email address one by one
Re-enable the fetch and push features for the emails
Re-enable 3G
Re-enable Cellular Data service
Re-Add your wifi networks and passwords."
You probably already read this, and I'd only do it unless I felt like doing it.
Just wait for Apple to send out a patch within the next month or so. :/

^^New to me, thanks dude.
And you're right, no way I'm going to do that. I can barely turn on my computer so if I start messing around with the settings that would be an accident waiting to happen.
Prolly best to downgrade to OS3...
