Well, that's not good at all....my phone arrives tomorrow. Although the prospect of my job being unable to reach me is rather attractive.

how could they have missed this? I doubt all phones will be affected

Much better battery life than my year-old 3GS! But then, it was on fumes. Overall, battery life definitely seems better than a new 3GS though, which was my biggest hoped-for area of improvement.

If that's what I think it is, it's not an issue -- the problem shown is an issue with how the bars are displayed and not the signal strength itself.
