I couldn't get passed the first 15 secs without pissing myself. This dude needs to give himself a fvcking uppercut.

Your an industrial designer FFS. He is worse than an architect.

Apple - iPad - The best way to experience the web, email, & photos

edit: They all need to give themselves uppercuts. God damn it, it's a touch screen computer, not the cure for aids.

if you use keynote from iwork, how do you connect up to a lcd projector?? I'd love this thing for meetings if I could edit and then present my talk from it. Much less of a hassle than my laptop. I do most of my hard work on my desktops, so a more functional but light weight ipad would be great for me.

So you don't like fantasy football (I assume you meant FF on your BB and not FF in general) because you only use your BB for work? Are you allowed to leave at 5 or do they put you away in the dungeon? Either way, amusing coming from a guy who started a TS BBM group...very productive.

OK, so no flash support either. lol. The funny thing is, this is one of their tag lines: "The best way to experience the Web, email, photos, and vidro. Hands Down."

Seriously? With no flash support? Cmon man. This thing is overhyped and flashy. And sorry, but typing on that huge touchpad keyboard is gonna be hard, and look all kinds of stupid.

I got it it is TEN hours, first post showed 1hr before it was edited .... grrrrrmmmlllll

This is a giant iApp thingy, it ain't a computer. I currently tether my 9" netbook for $9.99 unlimited to my cellphone over the verzion network.

I didn't start the BB group, and I don't participate in it often, ask anyone that's in there how much I check in. I put the link in my signature just because I think it's an effective way for people to get to know each other.

...and no, it's not about fantasy football. If you look at cellular network statics you will see that bandwidth started getting eaten up exponentially when the iPhone came out. I had an iPhone for a few months and it was fun to play with, but I realized how easy it was to become unproductive and lose track of time, so I went back to the Blackberry.

Now, where I live I can't get any decent internet service so I have to use a Verizon aircard. My fear is if we bring the iPhone to Verizon, even after Verison is completely integrated on 4G, my internet that I use for work will get slower and slower as the iPhone gains momentum.

I appreciate the fact that people enjoy their iPhones, I've given two to my sister as a gift... but it's just not my cup of tea personally for a few reasons.

I like it and would buy one because I never lug laptops while traveling yet find myself missing the Intenets and general connectivity. This could easily fill that gap for me. On the other hand, because it's Apple, you know that in a year there will be a cheaper version with a faster processor, more memory, more doo dads and it will give BJs. So I think I will wait for V2.
