Hey Guys, I just ordered CS4 and it's going to take a few days to get it from my daughter with her educational discount..

Can anyone get me a copy of it?

Just thinking that I supposed I could download it from Adobe's site..but they only allow two installs when you buy it and it's a pain in the butt sometimes with them sometimes.

Any leads where I can down load it are appreciated.

 

Are you looking for a torrent?

 

You should be able to get them to email you a DL link-- you can always update the reg key once you get a new license. Hell, you could even use the evaluation version until then.

 

i have never tried a torrent for the mac. if you know one, i'd appreciate a pm.

I hope if I download the eval it lets me use the id # when it comes in..I don't want to waste my time calling..

 

After the trial expires, it asks you to plug in the key to activate it, so you should be able to type in any activation key ( although, im not sure if the key is from an education pack )

 

why do I know this won't work? lol..Gonna take a week or two to get it but I'll just do the trial if I have no choice.

 

You can activate an eval with any key-- it's the full software package.

 

Can they find out if your downloaded copy was activated with an educational key?

 

If you ever need support, yes.

 

But it does not matter if they find out. They are all the same. The trial is full version and it will run without restrictions for 30days. Then you active with the new key on the full box version. They have no issues with this at all. It is exactly what I did.
