Long time OSX user.... LOVES windows 7!!!!!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give props to microsoft, for finally giving OSX some competition.

I recently installed windows 7 on my 15" unibody MPB in order to play the Champions Online beta. And I must say, it has been an absolute pleasure working with microsoft's new OS. It's snappy, pretty to look at, missing all the BS that Vista came with, and most important of all very easy to use.

If you have some time, go download the windows 7 RC for free and dual boot with Boot Camp. It's a breeze to setup.

Anybody else try out windows 7 yet? I'd like to see what everyone else thinks.

P.S. forgot to add that after using the google chrome web browser... I hate using firefox. Chrome is that much better.

I'm really excited for the full release in October. I'm used to Vista now but it's not ideal.

Yup, I get sound and two finger trackpad.

I don't know about all games... but I'm using it for champions online right now, and its working great. Run's really smooth.

Did they include some crack in the doze box? Been using it, unwillingly (e.g. paid to) for months. Same old crap.

Try actually doing anything of significance with it. XP is still, laughably, more stable and easier to deal with.

I guess after dealing with Vista on the family computers at home... I was so impressed with windows 7, that I had to shout it from the virtual rooftop that TS

It's not as stable or as easy to use as OSX... not yet at least. But its good to see microsoft at least going in the right direction.

I went from XP to 7 on my mini. It sucked so bad I formatted the drive and started over. Slow, long lags on things, etc. It was better than my last Vista attempt but not there yet. I'll try again when it is released for real...
