Can you use two apple extremes to expand reach?

My new house has 4 stories, and I have the wiring for the line coming in through the basement, so with one airport extreme, the signal is weak in the upstairs two floors.

Is it possible to pair another airport extreme to act like a signal booster/expander? How difficult is the setup?
