Hi guys,

I am trying to sync videos with my Iphone 3g. There are movies in my itunes library, but they dont show up in the video tab in my iphone. All it says is no rented movies in my library and then under that sync tv shows. Help! How do I get non itune rentals on my phone? TIA

Just to reiterate, the movies DO show up in my itunes but NOT in the video tab in the phone portion.

 

If you right-click the files in iTunes, are they set under 'video option' as movies, tv shows or music videos? Also, have you chosen to sync all of your videos or just selected ones in the video settings for syncing your iPhone? Sometimes I forget to click in the boxes I want to be synced to the iPhone.

 

I just changed the type of video to TV show (didn't know I could do that) and now it works. Thanks Bronto!

 

Although I have no idea why I have to do that now. I never had that issue with the old Iphone.

 

Some things are just weird. I formatted my powerbook last week and have been busy installing and transferring stuff for a while. Also had to sync my iPhone to the new iTunes and there was some hassle. Weirdly, my handmade ringtones weren't synced so I had the normal one. I looked into the library and the files were there, but not in the ringtone playlist. So I after a while I copied them to the desktop, deleted them from the library and then imported them again. First now, they appeared in the ringtone playlist :S
