PCM Replacement in a 997

Here is 997 that we replaced the factory PCM to add some new and improved features, such as touch screen nav, video ipod, hd radio, bluetooth phone, cd changer, amplifier and speakers.

We basically rebuilt a new dash insert from 100% ABS plastic , no bondo, no fiberglass and dyed the screen bezel and heater contrrols to match the rest of the interior trim.

Hope you all enjoy and feel free to ask any question.

Thank you...

The screen is bolted in securely along the sides, so it does not move at all! We used the kenwood Car Portal unit which is a 7" touch screen with a external brain. So the Part#'s are KOS-V1000 (brain) and KOS-L702 (6.95")
From there we added video ipod, hd radio, gps, ch changer, amp, speakers, the works... It sounded awesome....

As for the steering wheels, no they did not work in this car but yes with a bit of money we could make some sort of can module that would comunicate with the factory steering wheel controls so it would work with the Kenwood..
